CUSTOMS DUTIES WAIVED
The Government of Guyana has approved the waiver of duties and taxes on
all goods required for the flood relief. In addition, the Government has
also approved of the waiver of duties and taxes on an approved list of food
items imported into Guyana for commercial use. Information on the approved
list of food items can be obtained by contacting any of the Offices of the
Guyana Revenue Authourity or Binsaud Baksh on 621-9927.
